The Frankie B collection is the brainchild of Daniella Clarke, designer and wife of former Guns and Roses guitarist Gilby Clarke. Clarke says she created Frankie B. because she could never find a perfect pair of jeans. She says, "Nothing ever fit me the way I wanted. So I would buy whatever, take it home, rip it apart, re-sew it and fit it on me." Being hailed as the best of the low rider bunch, Frankie B. Jeans have created a dangerously low craze, even getting a gold medal spot on the cover of TV Guide Magazine. It’s no surprise that Clarke’s inspiration comes direct from the 70's. She says, "You know all the Woodstock footage? I watch it like crazy. All the old 70's concert album covers, I hunt those out." Frankie B's collection includes bathing suits, bikinis, and low riders
for men.
